The management of Nigeria Cleaning Service limited (NCS) decided to show appreciation to its deserving cleaning personnel who are stationed at Eko Towers 1 and 2 in Victoria Island and other associated locations attached to TotalEnergies, the client in Lagos.
The event was held in December 2022 at the huge dining hall which also serves as a conference room able to seat about a thousand people comfortably.
TotalEnergies is a multinational oil conglomerate with interests in the downstream sector in Nigeria. For a few years the company has adorned NCS with the saddled responsibility to clean and maintain its facilities and offices. Because of the astuteness and commitment to excellence that NCS has expressed towards this assignment the management of TotalEnergies during its annual gathering bestowed upon NCS as the best contractor in safety. The beautiful thing was that we won the award both for TotalEnergies Lagos and Abuja. This was not a small feat because as the reader might be aware, TotalEnergies is a huge company that does business with many contractors across all their facilities in Nigeria. So in order to have singled out NCS to merit the award, it was such a big accomplishment for NCS Ltd.
Consequently, on the part of the Directors and Management of NCS who understood that the award from the client TotalEnergies did not just come by mere chance but by the diligence and hard-work of all its personnel at these TotalEnergies locations, the management deemed it fit to also give out awards to the most outstanding janitors and supervisor at the location. A small award ceremony was held at the dinning area at Eko Towers for this event.
Four cleaners and 1 outstanding supervisor went home with some nice gifts and a memorabilia in form of plaque to appreciate them. Also, each one of the cleaners were all given a Certificate of Appreciation.
The event had in attendance some of the facility managers of TotalEnergies who oversee the activities of NCS at the location. They gave several remarks as well as the heads of department from NCS who were present at the event.
