Job Description / Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Carrying out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Performing periodic inspections on the plant, machinery, and automated systems
  • Scheduling planned and preventive maintenance work
  • Ensuring that machinery and equipment are kept in good working order
  • Ensuring that machinery and equipment meet safety regulations
  • Intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions
  • Repairing and / or replacing broken or defective components using qualified technicians
  • Checking repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has beenrestored
  • Documenting maintenance activities.

Attribute/Requirements :

  • Minimum academic qualification of B-Eng. / HND in Mechanical, Or ElectricalEngineering
  • Age: 35 years or above
  • Under simple accounting terminology
  • Minimum of 5Years of working experience in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge of how mechanical systems and electrical equipment work
  • Manual skills necessary to carry out maintenance operations
  • Ability to use maintenance software and electronic management systems
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills, Use of MS Office tools especially Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to intervene promptly and efficiently, where required
  • Reliability and flexibility

Salary: N400k to N500k

Position: Head, Business Development

Full job description

We are currently looking for Head, Business Development on a full-time permanent basis. This position sits within the Business Development team, based in our Lagos, Nigeria office.

 

The Head of Business Development is accountable for managing the NCS Ltd business, building and developing commercial relationships with stakeholders to build NCS’s brand and reputation, deepen our engagement and further NCS strategic and growth objectives.

The Job

Reporting to the Managing Director, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Developing plans and execution framework for partners and stakeholders engagement within the entire NCS Ltd network and contribute to business development plan for the market.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate team by role modelling the NCS behaviors, building employee engagement, promoting diversity and inclusion and effective performance and development support, deliver consistent sustainable business results.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of opportunities to grow NCS Ltd’s business through employer, University, secondary school and other partnerships ensuring a clear and mutually beneficial proposition
  • Own, monitors and drives the achievement of key performance indicators and outcomes for the company, aligning product and channel plans.
  • Build strong engagement and partnership plans for public sector, government and key regulatory organizations
  • Develop new and existing revenue streams with employers to maximize opportunities and grow NCS Ltd’s business
  • Work with partners to ensure global solutions, content and expertise are leveraged and consistently implemented within the market
  • Work with colleagues from other specialist teams to make high value connections between partners and optimize the NCS Ltd ecosystem
  • Reports regularly on progress through the appropriate reporting mechanisms on agreed KPIs and outcomes linked to the balanced scorecard

The Person

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrable experience in business development and relationship management.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience across sales, brand management and marketing in B2B and B2B2C environment
  • Good understanding of private, public sector and government relationship management
  • In depth understanding of the financial education and skills landscape
  • Ability to lead and inspire a community of business relationships employees
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships up to and including board level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent networking, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic with the ability to plan and organize work to meet stretching targets
  • A degree with relevant post graduate qualification would be an advantage
