Farewell to a Stalwart: Reliving the Highlights of Madam Ateshi’s Retirement Party

Mrs. Mary Ateshi became a valued member of the NCS Limited team on February 26, 1993.

Reflecting on her early days at the company, she humorously recalled encountering a mop stick and mop sweeper for the first time. Having grown up using only a traditional broom and packer, these tools were entirely novel to her.

After completing her training at the head office, Mary’s first assignment was at a prominent commercial bank branch in Marina, afterwards to Guinness, Ikeja. However, her journey to work from her residence in Apapa to the Ikeja proved to be challenging. Despite her enthusiasm for the new role, the daily commute took its toll on Mary, prompting her to request a transfer to a more convenient location.

Throughout her tenure with NCS Ltd, Mrs. Mary Ateshi has demonstrated unwavering dedication and hard work, playing a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships and securing numerous contracts for the company. Her journey with NCS Ltd has taken her to various esteemed establishments, including Guinness Ikeja in 1993, followed by stints at the Head Office, ELF Petroleum from 1993 to 2012, Ranbaxy Isolo from 2012 to 2018, and finally, Cybele Cosmetics from 2018 to 2024.

Among her notable achievements are the successful procurement of the Eko Towers contract and her instrumental role in resolving challenges faced at Ranbaxy Isolo, ensuring NCS Ltd’s continued presence at the site. In recognition of her outstanding performance, Mrs. Ateshi was honored with a Supervisor Award in 2018.

In this vein, the management of NCS Ltd deemed it fit to give Mrs. Ateshi an honorable send off party at the head office on Saturday April 13, 2024.

In attendance were the Director of NCS and Senior Managers of the Head Office, supervisors from different lagos location and some members of the Ateshi family. Enjoy the photos…
